“Went on the Christmas tour tonight. Absolutely amazing tour. We had Marc as our guide and had plenty of time to see all the houses on the tour. He was a total hoot and had us in stitches but was also really knowledgeable about the history behind the Xmas lights. What I really liked was the attention to detail. Dyker was getting super busy when we got there. Mark gave us all stickers so we could be easily identified so we couldn’t get lost. 3 others of his team met us there so there was always one of the team about to make sure we went the right way and were able to cross the road safely. “It has been a lifelong dream of mine to visit New York at Christmas time, and the Slice of Brooklyn holiday lights tour was a great way to celebrate the season. We traveled on a comfortable bus, watching entertaining clips from old Christmas specials on a video screen and listening to Christmas music along the way. Our guide Paula was fun, knowledgeable, energetic, and considerate of her guests’ comfort and enjoyment. The lights in Brooklyn were phenomenal, ranging from classy to just…wow. A tip: When you book your tour, you may be offered priority seating for a bit more money. We felt that it was worth it in terms of lining up first to board, getting off and on in the different neighborhoods, and excellent visibility. (I think that you can see well from all the seats however.) We loved our tour and we highly recommend this company. The coaches were great plenty of room and TV on board to get you in the Christmas spirit.The lights on the houses were out of this world and plenty of time to take it all in.
